Sinop software coverage for local businesses

Aksiyon Soft is announcing the scope of its Sinop software service for companies across the province. We build ERP connections, field apps, e-invoice (e-Fatura) integrations and middleware for seafood catchers and processors, tourism and hospitality businesses, manufacturing SMEs in Boyabat and Gerze, and suppliers that work with public institutions.

Our headquarters is in Samsun, Sinop’s south-eastern neighbour, and we have no branch, reseller or local office in Sinop. Development is remote, with planned on-site visits for key moments such as discovery and go-live. Being neighbouring provinces makes those visits easy to schedule, while the day-to-day rhythm stays remote, written and measurable.

In short

  • Who it is for: seafood businesses, hotels and guesthouses, Boyabat and Gerze manufacturers, and public-sector suppliers.
  • What we deliver: ERP and accounting integration, cold-chain and lot tracking, booking connections and field apps.
  • How we work: a Samsun-based team, remote delivery and planned visits to Sinop when needed.
  • Delivery rhythm: discovery, MVP, two-week sprint demos, then post-launch support with an SLA.
  • What we avoid: local-office claims, client names and unverified figures.

What software needs does Sinop’s economy create?

The Sinop Provincial Directorate of Trade’s 2024 Economic Outlook Report describes an economy built on fishing, forestry, livestock and field crops. Anchovy, bonito, horse mackerel and whiting are among the species caught along the coast; much of the anchovy goes to human consumption, while part of it is processed into fishmeal and fish oil.

The same report says Sinop OSB covers 100 hectares with 45 companies in active production, and that production also continues in the Boyabat OSB. Food leads the list of businesses registered in the industrial registry. The Sinop Governorship adds that local industry is dominated by stone-and-clay products and food, with fish products among the province’s exports.

Boyabat and Gerze

According to the report, all of Sinop’s stone-and-clay industry operates in raw-material-rich Boyabat, where brick production stands out, and Boyabat rice is a well-known local product. Gerze, together with Sinop OSB, is one of the areas where clothing manufacturing is concentrated, and an academic study of Sinop’s fishing fleet lists the province’s fishing ports and shelters as Merkez, Akliman, Ayancık and Gerze. Together these create a need for production planning, shipment tracking and dealer orders in one view.

Tourism and public-sector digitalisation

To revive tourism, the trade directorate’s report recommends using digital platforms for destination promotion; for seafood, it recommends expanding shared facilities in Sinop OSB such as processing, blast-freezing and cold storage. For hotels, linking booking channels to accounting is a priority; for SMEs selling to public bodies, an orderly archive of bids, contracts and progress-payment documents comes first.

Which sectors need which software?

SectorTypical software needIntegration point
Seafood catching and processingCatch and purchase records, lot tracking, cold-store inventoryAccounting, e-invoice, buyer portal
Tourism and hospitalityBooking and room management, campaign trackingChannel managers, payment gateway, accounting
Boyabat clay industry and Gerze textilesProduction planning, shipments, dealer ordersERP, e-waybill, vehicle tracking
SMEs supplying the public sectorBid and progress-payment archive, document approvalsDocument management, e-invoice, e-archive

What these needs share is data being re-typed in more than one place. In seafood, the purchase slip, storage record and invoice are written separately; in tourism, bookings, payments and accounting live on different screens. In discovery we list these duplications together and aim the first MVP at the flow that wastes the most time. Management reporting usually follows in phase two once clean data exists, without any extra data entry.

How should middleware and system integration be designed?

In many Sinop businesses, the booking channel, accounting package, e-invoice provider and storage records are independent of each other. During seasonal peaks, such as the fishing season or the summer months, moving data between them by hand means errors and delays. A middleware layer runs that flow from one place with queuing, retries and audit logs.

We explain the architecture in our guide to enterprise integration middleware architecture, and how to deliver messages without losing or double-processing them in the outbox pattern and idempotency guide. For a ready-made starting point, see our API and data integration platform.

How does remote delivery work for Sinop?

Discovery starts over video, and processes, systems and bottlenecks are gathered in a shared document. When we need to see a cold store, production line or front-desk workflow in person, we add a planned visit to Sinop. Sprint demos happen every two weeks, and decisions and acceptance criteria are kept in writing.

Pre-project checklist

  • Do you know the name and version of your accounting, ERP and e-invoice systems?
  • Have you estimated seasonal peaks and the transaction volume they bring?
  • Is the core record unit clear — a lot, a batch or a room?
  • Are user roles, approval rights and the personal data covered by KVKK written down?
  • Have you named a response time and an owner for post-launch support?

How can Aksiyon Soft help?

Our scope combines enterprise software solutions with API and integration services. Delivery follows four steps: discovery, an MVP that puts the most critical flow live, two-week sprint demos, and post-launch hypercare with an SLA.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Sinop?

No. Our only office is in Samsun. We serve Sinop businesses remotely and schedule on-site visits when a project needs them.

What does being close to Samsun add?

Because we are neighbouring provinces, in-person sessions such as a discovery workshop or go-live week are easy to arrange. Day-to-day development stays remote.

Can you set up lot tracking for a seafood business?

Yes. We can design a record structure that links purchasing, processing, cold storage and sales by lot, integrated with accounting and e-invoicing.

Can you connect our hotel’s booking channels to accounting?

If your channel manager or booking software offers an API, we can pass booking and payment data to accounting through a middleware layer.

Do you work with small businesses too?

Yes. Starting small with a single flow is often the right move; later phases are planned as the needs become clearer.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. After go-live there is an intensive hypercare period, followed by a maintenance agreement with defined response times.
