Nevsehir software partner: enterprise software for Cappadocia tourism and potato storage

For a hotel, balloon operator or travel agency in Cappadocia, the first question of the day is usually the same: which channel did today’s bookings come from, whose transfer is when, and if the flight is cancelled, who tells the guest? Finding the right Nevsehir software is therefore less about buying a new program and more about bringing booking channels, operations, accounting and guest communication into one data flow. The same province (Nevşehir in Turkish) is also a logistics hub that keeps a large share of Türkiye’s potatoes in rock-cut stores, and storage suffers from similar gaps.

This guide is written for accommodation providers, balloon and tour operators, travel agencies, potato storage operators and manufacturers in Nevsehir OSB (the organised industrial zone). Aksiyon Soft is headquartered in Samsun; we have no branch or office in Nevsehir. We deliver remotely and schedule on-site visits around the project plan for critical steps such as discovery, acceptance and go-live.

In short

  • Cappadocia has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1985 and welcomed more than 4.5 million visitors in 2025; booking volume shapes the software architecture.
  • The top visitor countries include China, Spain, the USA, South Korea and Japan, so a multilingual website and CRM are a requirement, not an option.
  • Balloons cannot fly every day; a cancellation has to flow automatically to the hotel, the transfer and accounting.
  • Nevsehir’s licensed underground stores need lot, owner and dispatch tracking for potato stock.
  • Aksiyon Soft works remotely with Nevsehir companies from its Samsun headquarters; there is no branch claim and site visits are planned.

How does Cappadocia tourism shape software needs?

UNESCO inscribed “Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia” on the World Heritage List in 1985; the property also includes the underground cities of Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu. According to the Governor of Nevsehir, citing Ministry of Culture and Tourism data, 4,523,275 domestic and foreign tourists visited Cappadocia in 2025. The Göreme Open Air Museum ranked first with 1,186,332 visitors, followed by Paşabağları, Kaymaklı and Derinkuyu.

According to the same statement, at the end of 2025 the province had 883 accommodation facilities with 15,688 rooms and 32,037 beds, and the average stay was 1.95 nights. Short stays mean high room turnover: many check-ins, check-outs, transfers and payments are processed every day. With China, Spain, the USA, South Korea, Italy and Japan among the top source countries, the website, booking forms and automated messages must also be managed in several languages.

How do you build operations software for balloon operators and agencies?

According to a January 2025 statement by the Nevsehir Governorate, 31,851 balloon flights carried 769,814 passengers in Cappadocia over 236 flying days in 2024; on flying days, more than 3,000 people went up on average. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) 2025 statistics also show 71 balloon operators and 517 balloons across Türkiye. That volume is far more than a booking system run over phone calls and messaging apps can handle.

Non-flying days and rescheduling

Flights are not possible every day of the year. When a cancellation is called one morning, hundreds of bookings must be moved to the next day, the hotel and transfer company informed, and each guest messaged in their own language. Done by hand, errors and complaints are inevitable. In a well-designed system the cancellation enters as a single event and every linked record is updated according to rules.

Agency, transfer and crew planning

Travel agencies and tour operators need bookings, vehicle and guide assignments, payments and commission calculations on the same screen. For a balloon operation that starts before dawn, pick-up times from hotels, vehicle capacity and passenger lists must be confirmed the evening before; a mobile app keeps that list live for drivers and crew.

Hotel, channel manager and CRM integration

A typical boutique hotel in Cappadocia uses a channel manager, a property management system (PMS), bookkeeping software and several messaging accounts. Rates and availability sit in the channel manager, guest details in the PMS, invoices in accounting, and reviews and requests in message inboxes. A CRM brings this data together on a single guest profile, showing returning guests, their preferred language and the extra services they bought.

A multilingual website is part of the same chain. If the direct booking form is not connected to the channel manager, overbooking becomes a risk; if enquiries from the form do not reach the CRM, sales opportunities are lost. Once the structure is right, the share of direct sales becomes measurable and the end-of-season report no longer has to be compiled by hand.

Middleware and system integration

A hotel or agency in Cappadocia touches at least five systems: a channel manager, a PMS or booking dashboard, a payment provider, a connection to the Revenue Administration (GİB) through a private integrator, and messaging services. Wiring them point to point multiplies the number of integrations with every new channel. Middleware binds every system to a single message contract and carries events in order, without loss.

Concrete Nevsehir scenarios include processing a booking from the channel manager exactly once with an idempotency key and writing it to the PMS and CRM at the same time; distributing a balloon cancellation event to the hotel, transfer and guest messaging flows; turning the check-out invoice into an e-archive or e-invoice request that waits in a queue when GİB is slow; and, on the storage side, opening a lot from a weighbridge ticket and generating an e-dispatch note at dispatch. According to GİB’s e-document site, an e-invoice is an XML document in the UBL-TR standard transmitted over a central platform.

For architectural detail, see our article on enterprise integration middleware architecture, and for duplicates and retries the outbox pattern and idempotency guide.

The Ahiler Development Agency’s Cappadocia film, also featured on the Nevsehir Governorate’s province page, shows the scale of the tourism operation.

How do you track potato stock in rock-cut stores?

According to an Anadolu Agency report from October 2025, Nevsehir has 1,326 licensed underground stores, and the head of the local chamber of agriculture puts total capacity at roughly 2.5 million tonnes. The report says that although the province ranks seventh in potato production, it is a base for storage; produce from Sivas, Konya, Kayseri, Niğde, Elazığ and Erzincan is stored in one-tonne sacks. An association representative says around 600 trucks a day arrive in the region during peak periods.

The software’s job here is clear: each sack or batch needs lot, owner, province of origin, store and room recorded; intakes and withdrawals must be tied to weighbridge tickets, and dispatch must close with an e-dispatch note. When produce from different provinces sits in the same store, owner-level stock and rent must be kept separate, or reconciliation slips to the end of the season.

What do manufacturers in Nevsehir OSB need?

According to Nevsehir OSB’s official website, the zone lies 10 km from the city centre and covers 85 hectares with 77 parcels; 54 companies employ around 1,600 people. Leading sectors include automotive supply and trailer equipment, food and food packaging, metal, agricultural machinery and recycling. For manufacturers of this size, bringing orders, production orders, quality records and e-documents into a single ERP flow is the core need.

How does a remote enterprise software partnership work?

Our model with Nevsehir companies rests on written scope, regular demos and a transparent backlog. Discovery sessions start over video and work through the booking flow, a system inventory and sample documents. When we need to see the real workflow at reception or in a store, we schedule a site visit outside the peak season.

Day-to-day collaboration continues remotely with a shared backlog and weekly status summaries. For neighbouring provinces, read our guides to a Kayseri enterprise software partner and an Aksaray software partner; for potato production and cold stores, see the Nigde enterprise software partner guide, and for an SME and OSB-focused profile, our Kirsehir software guide.

Checklist: before starting a software project in Nevsehir

  • Is the API access of your channel manager, PMS and payment provider clear?
  • Is it written down which records are updated when a flight is cancelled or a booking changes?
  • Have you decided which languages the website and automated messages will support?
  • Have you defined where guest data is held and the KVKK (Turkish data protection) retention periods?
  • On the storage side, is it defined where lot, owner and room records are created?
  • Have you planned go-live outside the peak season or storage period?

How can Aksiyon Soft help?

Through our enterprise software solutions we bring your booking, operations and storage processes onto a single dashboard. With our API and integration service we build the middleware for channel manager, PMS, payment, GİB and messaging connections; you can explore our approach on the API and data integration platform page.

The delivery model is clear: a discovery and scope document, a prioritised MVP (for example the booking and cancellation flow only), working software demos in two-week sprints, a hypercare period after go-live and then SLA-backed maintenance. The team is in Samsun and works remotely with customers in Nevsehir and across Türkiye. When comparing proposals, you can use the questions in our guide on how to choose a software company.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have an office in Nevsehir?

No. Our headquarters is in Samsun and we have no branch or reseller in Nevsehir. We deliver remotely and make planned site visits for steps such as discovery and go-live.

Do we need to replace our channel manager and PMS?

Usually not. If the systems offer an API or data export, they are connected through middleware; replacement only comes up if a system provides no data at all.

Can you automate the process when a balloon flight is cancelled?

Yes. The cancellation is entered as a single event; linked bookings are postponed according to rules, the hotel and transfer are informed, and each guest is messaged in their own language. The rules are written together with you during discovery.

Can a multilingual website and CRM be built together?

Yes. Enquiry and booking forms on the website are connected to the CRM and the channel manager; the language preference is stored on the guest profile and used in automated messages.

Does a potato store need separate software?

A separate module may be enough. Lot, owner and room-level stock, the weighbridge connection and e-dispatch notes talk to your existing accounting or ERP through middleware.

Who owns the source code and the data?

This is settled in the contract; in enterprise projects the aim is to hand the source code over to the customer and keep data in the environment the customer chooses. KVKK obligations are addressed during discovery.
